Position Description: The successful candidate will possess expertise and practical experience in design, development and deployment of SharePoint-based Web Portals. Candidate will have an understanding of ASP.NET 2.0 and 3.0 architecture as it applies to IIS and WSS. An understanding of ANSI-SQL language, SQL DBMS systems, Web-based forms and reporting, and exposure to Microsoft Visual Studio will be considered positive factors. Optimally, the successful Candidate will have a level of experience necessary to create custom SharePoint Web Page Parts for reusable employment in Portals. The Candidate will be required to have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and Products, specifically but not limited to: Windows Server 2003 x86 and x64, Windows XP SP2, and Windows Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Finally, the Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and customer relations skills. Education: BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Significant work experience and completion of Technical courseware may be considered in lieu of or as an amplifier to traditional College courseware. Required Skills: Windows Sharepoint Services (WSS) 3.0, MOSS 7.0 (is a plus), ASP.NET 2.0/3.0, Visual Studio 2005 or similar, SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Office Toolset Location: The selected candidate will split work between the Corporate site and off-site (home), but must be within easy commuting distance of the DC Metro Area via car or public transportation. Additional non-local travel is not anticipated. Clearances: US Citizenship Required; Security Clearance is not required; If hired, applicant will be required to complete HIPAA- awareness training.
